The wedding cake reveal ceremony
More than bringing out the cake
We turn the traditional cake reveal into an occasion in its own right.

— 01 / Instead of a few minutes
From a familiar tradition to a ceremony in its own right.
Usually the wedding cake reveal remains only a brief episode of the evening.
A few photographs, applause — and the evening continues.
We have turned this familiar moment into a ceremony in its own right — with anticipation, atmosphere and a climax of its own.
— 02 / Restoring meaning

The arrival of the cake is more than the end of dinner.
At this moment the couple shares their celebration with every guest for the first time. They share a deeply important moment of their lives.
It is the emotional centre of the celebration that brings everyone together.
When everyone is together, gathered around the couple. When guests are not only witnesses, but participants. Only people remain — and the moment they are living through together.
A moment like this deserves more than an ordinary presentation — it deserves a story of its own.
— 03 / A mysterious object. Anticipation

Instead of showing the cake, we show its appearance.
Everyone knows how a wedding cake usually appears. But in our case, no one expects what its arrival will actually look like. The ceremony begins with something that puzzles the guests.
The bride tosses a feather, and it flies across the room toward a mysterious object. The box begins to shake. But it is empty.
For a few minutes the room is held by guesses and anticipation. A flash of light. In the empty box, the real wedding cake appears.
A familiar tradition can surprise again.
— 04 / When viewers — participants

Guests become part of what is unfolding.
The appearance of the cake is only part of the ceremony.
The light grows softer.
The candles ignite on their own.
The couple steps forward.
Each guest may make a wish, send a silent message to the couple, or simply share the moment together.
The bride and groom cut the cake. This is where the ceremony becomes shared by everyone present.
“The smoke from an extinguished candle will carry your wish.”

— 06 / Possibilities
Not only
the wedding cake.
Most often, the ceremony is created for the arrival of the wedding cake.
Yet almost any meaningful object can take centre stage: a gift, wedding rings, a family heirloom, a collector's bottle of wine, or a special surprise for your guests.
Every ceremony is shaped around the event — and its story.

Everything you need to know.
What kind of cake works for the ceremony?
+
Most wedding cakes are suitable. After you reserve a date, we contact your pastry chef or whoever is handling the cake order and agree on dimensions, structure and finishing details in advance. This lets us prepare the ceremony so the reveal looks exactly as intended.
Is it your real wedding cake that appears during the ceremony?
+
Yes. Your actual wedding cake appears during the ceremony and is served to guests once it is over.
We agree every detail in advance with your pastry chef and planner so the cake's appearance and quality are preserved right up to the moment of the reveal.
Do you provide the cake?
+
No. The cake is ordered separately from a pastry chef of your choice.
We work with the cake you have chosen for your wedding and agree dimensions, structure and finishing details with the pastry chef in advance. This keeps your celebration personal and does not limit your choice of design.
Can we use our own pastry chef?
+
Yes. In most cases we work with the pastry chef the couple has chosen.
Can something other than a cake be used?
+
Yes. The ceremony can centre on more than a wedding cake — a gift, wedding rings, a family heirloom, a collector's bottle of wine or another meaningful object. Each project is discussed individually and shaped around your event.
Is a ceremony possible for an anniversary or a child's birthday?
+
Yes. The format can be adapted for different occasions — anniversaries, children's birthdays and corporate events.
The focus may be a cake, a gift or another meaningful object. The scenario, atmosphere and rhythm of the ceremony are shaped around the age of your guests, the format of the celebration and your story.
Before you reserve a date we discuss the details individually, so the ceremony fits naturally into the programme and becomes a genuinely meaningful moment for everyone present.
Are there size limitations?
+
For a wedding cake we recommend up to 39 cm in height and up to 47 cm for the bottom tier diameter. For gifts and other objects the recommended dimensions are up to 48 × 30 × 36 cm.
If dimensions differ from those listed, we can discuss feasibility individually. After you reserve a date we agree all parameters in advance with your pastry chef, planner or whoever is preparing the object.
You may download the requirements for your pastry chef and share them when placing the cake order.
Download requirements for your pastry chef (PDF)How much space is needed?
+
The ceremony requires clear space around the structure and a good sightline for guests. As a rule, we recommend planning for an area of at least 4 × 4 metres.
The exact requirement depends on the venue, table layout and event flow. Before the wedding we agree placement with your planner and confirm the space allows a comfortable ceremony and a clear view for everyone.
When does the ceremony take place?
+
Most often the ceremony is the closing chapter of the evening. For many couples it is one of the last shared moments when every guest's attention is on them.
The exact timing is always set by the event programme and agreed in advance with the MC, planner and the couple.
How long does the ceremony last?
+
The main part of the ceremony takes about 5 minutes. After the cake or object appears comes the closing sequence with candles, congratulations and preparation for cutting the cake.
On average the full episode runs 5 to 10 minutes and becomes a natural climax of the evening.
Can candles be used on the cake?
+
Yes. The cake appears without lit candles. After the reveal we place and light the candles and bring the ceremony to its close. This preserves the impact of the entrance and keeps the ceremony safe.
Where is the service available?
+
Mainly Moscow and the Moscow region. Travel to other regions is discussed individually.
